Founded by Andre Dupuis and Scott Wilson in 2000, Echo Bay Media has produced hundreds of hours of award-winning, broadcast programming enjoyed in more than 100 countries.

Our work has been shown on the likes of Netflix, National Geographic, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, Amazon Prime and Discovery Channel, among many others, the world over.

We’ve also had the privilege of cultivating relationships with cherished clients, for whom we’ve conveyed their message through commercial, web and corporate video projects that cover a limitless range of subject matter.

We believe in having only the people and gear necessary to get the job done right, which sometimes means becoming experts in many areas. It’s made us extremely agile, resulting in efficient and focused production, the upside to which is higher production value for every project, and outstanding value for our partners and clients.

For more than two decades we have relentlessly embraced technology that helps us capture visuals in new and exciting ways. We’ve invested in ourselves, earning the highest level of professional underwater and aerial certifications, and above all else, we’ve constantly nurtured
relationships with our core team and our clients alike.

This multi-faceted team is kept deliberately small in order to increase agility and to foster the sort of trust that’s crucial not only in potentially life-or-death situations, but also deliver at the highest standards
possible.

The team prides itself in being able to drop in anywhere and get the story – regardless of whether it’s in the Amazon, Antarctica, the Libyan Sahara or even North Korea – we’ve filmed there with excited wonder and an open mind. Those efforts have been rewarded with multiple awards for everything from visuals, to audio, to editing, and an Emmy-nomination for outstanding cinematography.

Our documentary projects all share some common desires: to depict a story authentically; to push ourselves into new, unfamiliar territory; and to always do projects of passion. We observe through an objective lens and have an uncanny ability to draw out powerful human moments, balanced with the patience and dedication to capture places and things at their most spectacular.

We’re proud of our reputation for being the production team who thrives where most other teams can’t – or won’t – go. We’ve proven it countless times travelling to some of the most remote and inhospitable parts of the planet for our documentary projects, and it has taught us to keep production moving efficiently, even when faced with unexpected adversity.

This obviously benefits our corporate and commercial clients who get an experienced team, but one that’s also nurtured patience and compassion for others. We know we’re entering our clients’ world – maybe even their home – when we are given the opportunity to work with them, and we don’t take that lightly.
